Artist Contract

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 35th annual Art Fair sponsored by The Women’s Club. Upon receipt of signed contract and the appropriate rental fee (see booth map) a booth will be reserved. Booth assignments are determined on a first received basis after January 15th. You will be notified of your booth assignment by March 1. No more than 2 booths per artist. In case of artist cancellation, refund is dependent on our finding a replacement artist.

The exhibitor will be the SOLE Artist in his/her individual booth and agrees to cooperate and work within the guidelines set forth by the Fair organizers. Failure to comply with the rules could mean dismissal from the show with no refund. In signing this contract, the exhibitor agrees that all media is original in concept and execution and is handmade by the exhibitor. The Women’s Club reserves the right to reject any item that does not meet the standards of the annual Art Fair. Please note that no overnight stays will be allowed on the Nub’s Nob grounds. Vendors must be on site by 8AM or booth(s) may be forfeited.

The exhibitor agrees that:

  1. Inside: no light bulb over 60 watts each with a total of 350 watts per booth will be used;

  2. Inside: the exhibitor will supply the needed extension cord;

  3. Nothing will be pounded, glued or affixed to the floor, pavement or walls of the facility;

  4. The exhibitor’s booth will be attractive, neat and tasteful in appearance with restocking boxes out of sight;

  5. The exhibitor will provide their own cash box and method of customer financial transaction;

  6. The exhibitor’s booth must be within boundaries designated;

  7. At completion of show booth area must be clean.

The exhibitor releases The Women’s Club from any liability for loss or damage to the exhibitor’s goods, wares, artwork or display materials brought to the Fair, and further agrees to save, indemnify and hold harmless The Women’s Club from any liability to any person viewing or purchasing any goods, artwork or wares. This indemnity from liability shall specifically extend to claims of product and premises liability.

Your booth must be off the grounds by 6:30PM. A $50/hour fee will be assessed for each hour after 6:30PM.
